Why Rejoice in the Midst of Suffering (Ephesians 3:14-21)

May 24, 2009

The apostle Paul is in jail on account of the gentiles and his calling as an apostle. It would seem that the apostle would be bitter and upset that he is in this predicament. It is not a surprise that the apostle Paul would pray to the Lord. However, why is the apostle Paul praising God? How can the apostle Paul have hope in this situation? Why would the apostle be thinking about and desiring that the gentiles know the love of Christ? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned as we listen to a sermon titled, "Why Rejoice in the Midst of Prison?"
