It is always interesting to me that when Christ enters Jerusalem we call that "His Triumphal Entry." Yet, Christ does not see it as triumphal at all. In fact, Christ speaks against the entry being triumphal, and almost rebukes those who greet him. Why does Christ react this way? Why not avoid the cross and enter into the glory of heaven by influencing people? Why are the people turned away from following Christ?
