Paul, a Prisoner of Christ (Philemon 1)

The story of Cain and Abel is the story that shows that the two seeds, seed of the woman and serpent, continue to wage war against one another. It is Cain who murders Abel to silence the victory of the seed of the woman. You would think that at the coming of Christ this would change, but we find that Paul is placed in prison for preaching the gospel. Does this mean that the kingdom has failed? Does this mean that the work Christ came to do has been thwarted? Or does the greeting from Paul indicate that the City of God has prevailed in Christ? Please stay tuned as we hear, “Paul, A Prisoner of Christ.”
