One Sacrifice or Re-Sacrificed? (I Cor. 10:7-18; LD 30) | 2006-2007 Catechism Sermons

Question and Answer 80 of the Heidelberg Catechism tells us that the mass is a cursed idolatry. Why would the catechism use this strong language against Rome when Rome merely believes the mass is a continuation of the sacrifice of Christ?
