A Treasure in Jars of Clay (2 Cor. 4:7-18)

Mar 21, 2010

Meaningless, meaningless, all is meaningless under the sun. If we walked around saying this all the time we probably would not be asked to be people’s dinner guest’s very often. Yet, these words are a paraphrase of the opening of the book of Ecclesiastes. In what sense is it true that everything is meaningless? How do we know that the writer of Ecclesiastes is not just some pessimist who had a series of bad days? How does the apostle Paul encourage us to see that while we suffer in this life we truly can take joy in this suffering? Please keep listening to our sermon titled, "A Treasure in Jars of Clay."
