You do not have to be the most dedicated sport fan to notice that there always seems to be a guy holding a sign that says, "John 3:16." There is no doubt that this verse in scripture is very encouraging, but how does the context make it down right shocking? How does the verse communicate that a very unworthy people have also become a very exclusive people? Why is it that this enjoyed exclusive status is also very humbling?
