The preacher in Ecclesiastes has made it clear that we live our lives under the sun. Living our lives under the sun means that we live in this world, we go about our days, and then we die. This sounds rather morbid. Is there any hope that we can have to get us through this life? Is God some distant being where we just go through the motions to please Him without knowing Him?
