Why is Jesus the Only Begotten Son of God? (Hebrews 1:1-4; LD 13) | 2009-2010 Catechism Sermons

There is no doubt that our redemption is only because of the work of Jesus Christ. However, why is His work so superior to any other work? Why do we say that Jesus is God and man? Why do we refer to Jesus as the only begotten Son of God? Does scripture teach this doctrine? Is this teaching or concept so important?
