Why Do we Need Christ? (LD 24; Galatians 3:10-14) | 2010-2011 Catechism Sermons

It is good to want to be good. I think it is good that as Christians we have a sorrow for our sins, and desire to conform to Christ. Do we ever really stop to think about a good work? What is a good work? Do we ever ask ourselves how it came about that we want to do a good work? Do we marvel at the desire within us or do we just take credit for the growth we have seen over the years? How come we should not take credit for these good works? Where does Christ and the gospel fit into us doing good works? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned to our sermon titled, “Why Do we Need Christ?”
