Where is Your Lord? (LD 18; Acts 1:6-11) | 2009-2010 Catechism Sermons

Our Lord Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of God the Father in heaven. This is a great thing for Christians to ponder, to know, and to believe. However, why is it so important that Christ has ascended into heaven? It would be a lot easier to bring skeptics to the king who is visibly seated on a throne on this earth. So, why is Christ in heaven? What does this ascension do for us, and the church? Have you ever asked these questions? Please stay tuned to our sermon titled, “Where is Your Lord” as we work through these questions.
