Moses states that the secret things belong to the Lord. However, the apostle Paul states that we are to know the will of the Lord. This is a strange exhortation for it sounds as if Paul is going against Moses. How can the apostle Paul call us to know the will of the Lord and essentially to walk in the will of the Lord? What does the Spirit have to do with this exhortation? What does not committing adultery have to do with this exhortation? Is Adultery something that is a sin only within marriage?
