We begin with our study in the book of Amos the prophet. His book opens with these are the words of Amos. This man is merely a shepherd outside the city of Jerusalem. Why should we listen to these words? Why are his words any different from other people’s words? Why are there two contemporary kings mentioned at the opening of this book? As we consider these questions we will see the significance of the prophets and the state of Israel. Please stay tuned as we hear, “The Prophet Before the Storm.”
