Paul and the Corinthian church have had their struggles. Paul writes 2 Corinthians to help the church see the nature of suffering, valuing things in light of Christ, and seeing the centrality of the apostolic gospel. Now, Paul speaks of the joy of the Lord, and in particular the joy of seeing the Corinthians repent in a godly sorrow. What is this godly sorrow? Why is it joyful that they repent in such a godly sorrow? Why can’t they just be sorry or have sorrow? Please stay tuned to our sermon titled, "The Joy of the Lord."
