The Gospel of Forgiveness (2 Corinthians 2:5-11)

The apostle Peter asks the Lord an interesting question prior to Christ going to the cross. Peter wants to know how many times he should forgive his brother who offends him. The Lord tells him 7 times 77, basically saying that the number of times is infinite. Christ then speaks of church discipline in the context of this request. What is the purpose of church discipline? What does this process have to do with forgiveness? How does this discipline unify the church? Please stay tuned to our sermon titled, "The Gospel of Forgiveness."
