There is controversy among the apostles before the Passover. The point of contention is that Jesus washes the disciples feet. Rev. Findley points out that foot washing was part of the culture of that day. Jesus states that he has given an example of what the disciples are to do. Does this mean that we continue to wash feet? Is the church in error for no longer continuing with the practice that our Lord commands? Or is there something more that is being taght from this passage?
