Resurrected to Eternal Life (LD 22; Jonah 1:17-2:10) | 2012 Catechism Sermons

The story of Jonah being in the fish is a common story for anyone who has grown up in church or Sunday school. The prophet Jonah is not one that we would say is the most successful of the prophets. So, why would Christ choose Jonah to be a sign when the leaders of Israel ask for a sign? What does Jonah have to do with resurrection? Why would we care about Jonah and the big fish? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned to our sermon titled, “Resurrected to Eternal Life.”
