When we were younger we learned that it was rude to lie. In fact, even today if you listen to non Christians teach their children they know that the act of deception is wrong, and they discourage their children. When we as Christians say that it is wrong to lie, do we merely think that it is wrong for practical reasons? Do we think of this ethic in terms of us being secured in Christ, and living in this kingdom? Do we think of our ethics in terms of our kingdom identity? Please stay tuned as we work through these issues in our sermon titled, “Rejoicing in Truth.”
