I think it is pretty much common that if someone wants to get their ideas into the public square they generally need to be assertive. They have to promote themselves or they need to have others spend much time and energy promoting on their behalf. This is common sense right? Well, this is along the lines of what Jesus' brother's tell Christ. Yet, Christ does not listen to their advice and this common sense. Why not? How come Christ does not assert his position more aggressively? What is different about this kingdom?
