When people quote philosophers or secular wisdom we can be encouraged, and there might be things that we can glean from them in our day to day lives. When we think of Biblical wisdom sometimes we are tempted to think that Biblical wisdom operates in the same way as worldly wisdom meaning that it is timeless and applies to all the same way. For instance, the poem in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 was used in a song by the Byrds. Is this merely some timeless philosophy or is there something distinctive in this poem dealing with the different seasons of life? Please stay tuned to our sermon titled, "Perfect Timing."
