Why is it so provocative for Christ to state, "Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing?" This is what Christ says in Luke 4 and there are Israelites who want to kill him for it. Why can Christ apply the efficacy of the message to himself, but yet the apostle Paul does not make the same claim about himself in Galatians? Why would the apostle Paul be willing to be accursed of God if he brought another Gospel? What is the power behind this gospel?
