Knighted by the King (LD 20; Isa. 11:1-5; 59:15-21; Eph. 6:10-20) | 2010-2011 Catechism Sermons

We can read about the armor of God and genuinely be encouraged that the Lord has clothed us with the weapons of defense in holy war. When we think about the armor of God we do not normally think about the Holy Spirit in this context. What does the Holy Spirit have to do with the Armor of God? Where was this armor mentioned before in Scripture? What does this Armor tell us about the Lord’s faithfulness? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned to our sermon titled, “Knighted by the King.”
