Thank you for downloading our Podcast published on February 4, 2007. Lord’s day 9 of the Heidelberg Catechism answers the question: What do we mean by maker of heaven and earth? We will look at this question as we go through the speech of the Lord to Job. This is a speech that puts us in awe of all that God has done in covenant history. This is not only in the first creation, the sustaining the first creation, but also in the demonstration of the new creation through the suffering model of Job as “God Proves His Sovereign Hand.”
