When we think of the Lord’s prayer many times we think that this is a prayer that should be concerned with our Spiritual needs. Afterall, we know that God is displeased with sin so we should be concerned with putting off our sin. While this is true, we find that there is another dimension to this prayer. There is the call for us to put before the great king of heaven our daily physical needs. How does this show that our God is really merciful? How does this show that our Lord really does care about the citizens in his Kingdom?
