In today's world it would sound strange to say that we cherish the Lord being a shepherd. One might wonder what does that mean? Does that mean that we are just sheep who aimlessly follow along with the herd? Does that mean that God does not love us as individuals? Does that mean that we have to be dumb in order to want to follow this God? Or are all these questions missing the beauty of what the Lord reveals about Himself?
