Applying the Ordeal Sign (Gen. 17:7; Acts 2:29-41; LD 27) | 2006-2007 Catechism Sermons

In Genesis 17:7 The Lord says to Abraham that he makes an everlasting covenant with Abraham. Why is it so significant that the Lord says this very statement in verse 7 of Genesis 17? Does this mean that this covenant goes beyond the land promise that was made to Israel? Is this the same thing that Peter means in his Pentecost sermon in Acts 2:39? Let us give our attention to Peter’s Pentecost sermon as we listen to, “Applying the Ordeal Sign.”
