A Temple of the Living God (2 Cor. 6:14-7:1)

Do you remember when King David desired to build a house for the Lord? The Lord would not let him build a house. However, the Lord covenanted to put one of David’s servants on the royal throne forever. The Lord will plant his people in a place forever. Israel does not dwell in the land forever, and they lose the land. Now, Paul tells us that we are temple. How is this encouraging as we see struggling churches, persecuted churches, and ingrown churches? How is it assuring that the Lord builds us together as His temple? How do we live as a temple? Please stay tuned to our sermon titled, "A Temple of the Living God."
