Doxological Guarding (3:17-18)
Dec 5, 2007Here Peter declares to us that as we are new creatures in Christ we are called to live as those made alive in Christ. The guarding that was commanded to Adam is commanded to us, but with a different application. The difference is that we are confirmed in Christ.

Freedom? (2:17-22)
Dec 5, 2007Peter addresses the claimed freedom that these teachers promise. The freedom that they hold forth is not the freedom of heaven, but the freedom of hell. Truly there is no life outside the kingdom of Christ proclaimed in the gospel message.

Prophets of Balaam
