Why Walk on the Water? (John 6:16-21)

It is interesting that in society it has become a cliche to say something along the lines of, "When is the last time you walked on water?" The point of this saying is to communicate that someone is not in a place to judge another person. We find that Christ did in fact walk on the water. Does Christ walk on the water merely to judge people? Does He walk on the water to show that He is merely superior to creatures? Or is there something that is far deeper and more encouraging that is happening in the text? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned to our sermon titled, "Why Walk on the Water?"
