When the Lord made his covenant with Abraham in Genesis 15 the Lord promised Abraham to have a great number of descendants. It would seem that when Israel entered into the Promised Land that this promise was fully realized. However, Hosea tells us that Israel is not the people of God, but there will be a day when the Lord calls a people of God. How can this be? How does the Apostle Paul interpret this passage?
