Ironic Victory (John 13:21-38)

If someone desires to win a contest you figure that the person is going to train, and it is going to be a close race to keep you in suspense. We would think that a person is crazy if the person thinks that they can show up, and then seem to quit. We would tell that person that they cannot claim a victory because they lost. Yet, that is almost what it seems Christ has done. Yet, Christ claims a victory. How can Christ claim a victory when one disciple denies him and another betrays him? How can Christ claim glory when it seems that he cannot keep his own men in line? If you are curious about these questions please stay tuned to our sermon titled, "Ironic Victory."
