Becoming Significant by Being Insignificant (John 3:22-36)

Sometimes we can say that competition is a good thing. This is what can push athletes, and even individuals to excel at particular goals. However, sometimes this competition can create rivalry which can escalate into a big fight. This is what we see with John's disciples as they observe the ministry of Christ. Why are the disciples of John upset? How do we know that they are out of line? How does John correct their misunderstanding?
